My Approach

As an Integrative Counsellor & Mentor, I offer a nurturing space infused with warmth, presence, playfulness and embodied curiosity. I meet you exactly "where you are", gently tending to both the challenges you bring and the subtle, psychosomatic responses that ripple beneath the surface. My therapeutic process is deeply relational and you are invited to bring your full self - messy, uncertain, weird, exactly as you are.

The approach I take is non-pathological and integrative - blending a range of powerful modalities together to take you deeper in your healing process. This includes process-oriented psychology, dream-work, internal family systems (IFS), voice dialogue and the wild mind map of the psyche.

It is also holistic in that I give support and attention to all facets of your experience and wellbeing. At any point in time we may be tending to your thought patterns, your body, your dreams, your emotions, your relation to “other”, your spiritual beliefs, or your physical movements - they are all welcome here. This is in contrast to more conventional therapeutic approaches which centre on addressing symptoms and diagnosing mental disorders.

I see uncomfortable symptoms as not something to avoid, but to lean into - seeing them as opportunities for deeper exploration, awareness and healing. Whether you are processing deep pain or seeking to awaken dormant gifts, I am dedicated to being your steadfast ally and advocate on your journey of healing and self-discovery.

In our first session together, we´ll slow down, take a breath, feel our feet on the ground and explore what you are needing. There is the option to do a guided meditation to support you to drop deeper into the space. I´ll spend time with you, human to human, listening to your story or specific challenge whilst tracking what is arising in the present moment. Perhaps there is a mysterious dream that is disturbing you, you are navigating emotional wounding, limiting beliefs, protective mechanisms, grief, relationship concerns or triggers that hold unresolved energy. By compassionately inquiring into your present moment experience, I help you track and unfold the subtle unconscious signals that show up in your body, your dreams and your relationship patterns. These signals contain a deep wisdom that offer a path to healing and self-actualisation that is exquisitely tailored to you.

Process Oriented Psychology

Process Work invites us to turn toward disturbing symptoms, conflicts, or inner disturbances with curiosity instead of trying to fix or avoid them. By slowing down and following body signals and emerging experiences, we unwind old restrictive patterns and access deeper wisdom, leading to more grounded, empowered, and authentic life choices.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

IFS views the mind as a family of multiple sub-personalities or "parts," each carrying its own feelings, memories, and protective roles - often from early wounds. Through unblending (creating space from intense parts) we access the compassionate, confident core Self, which can then lovingly reparent and heal these burdened parts, helping them release old pain and trust Self-leadership.
